Typically with kitchen makeovers, one change begets another. In “Conscious Kitchen Makeover” (February/March 2010 issue of HANDY Magazine, p. 18), changes in the countertops, for example, led to construction of a furniture-style support. And a panel-and-cabinet project came about to disguise the refrigerator and improve kitchen storage.
