I borrowed one from my neighbor to try on my small yard. it worked good on small stuff but trying it on the the bigger stuff it did not have the battery power or the cutting power to do taller thicker grass for very long. I don't like how the string is feed. good for light trimming as long as you don't let your grass or weeds get to big. I do like the concept of trimmer and edger in the same tool.

Really nice tool for small people and well established and maintained lawns. Have been using mine for 3 years and it has its moments, but so did all the gas ones I have used for the past 30 years. I edge walkways, curb, sides of lawns by neighbors, back fence and around the trees. My only problem with this unit is the battery. If I charge the battery and allow it to set for a day or more, it needs to be charged again. But, it works very well if you get it out of the charger in a few minutes after the charge cycle is completed. Even if you allow it to stay in the charger after the end of the charge cycle, it discharges.

I recently bought the Worx GD trimmer and like it except the line works back and forth, causing friction and become welded together, breaking off inside. I then have to tear it down and dig the line out of the spool. I put in heavier line which is a trick and so far I haven't had any trouble. I e-mailed the company and haven't heard a thing back, so I take it they don't care. Jerry

I purchased one o these trimmers about three months ago. I really like it for light work; light trimming and edging. So far, it was worth the money.

We purchased the WORX trimmer a few months ago. The battery charge is good only for about fifteen minutes of use. Now the battery will not take a charge. We liked the way it can change positions easily but you must realize it is designed for light work only. We will try to contact company about the battery issue.

I bought this Worx GT trimmer and it did not work for me as it was promised. It couldn't handle the trimming as I had hoped but the weeding was satisfactory. I returned this item to the manufacturer after 2 weeks of using it. I was not satisfied with this product or the price.
