The ReSource Tool Library in Boulder, Colorado, offers an affordable way for DIYers to complete projects without having to purchase tools.

Library for DIYers

Imagine having access to 2,500 free tools. Residents of Boulder, Colorado, do, thanks to the Center for ReSource Conservation’s Tool Library. The organization accepts donations of unwanted or seldom-used tools and then lends them out for free with the purchase of an annual membership ($25 for an individual, plus daily handling fees). More than two dozen similar tool libraries exist in the United States, so look up a location near you to start checking out tools or donating your extras. Check out your local tool library to start checking out tools!

What a great idea to keep the old tools (and new) recycled through a lend/loan exchange - Kudos for the person who came up with that idea.
