I need to make a comment on the Simpson Strong -Ties Pipe Grip Ties, on chainlink fencing posts. Chainlink fence posts are a standard light gauge tubing, and are spaced apx. on 10' centers. When you add a 6' wood fence to them they cannot handle the wind load that is created by attaching 6' fence pickets to it. I suggest adding a large piece of rebar in the post and filling with cement. It may help but not 100%. posts need to be on 8' centers or less to handle wind load. Schedule 40 galvinized pipe works the best and will last for ever. Also always use -3- rails, to prevent pickets from warping. My fence is still standing after 25 years Article on page "K" Fence Facelift.

Sincerly yours,
Chris Susemihl
