I just realized that I have been entering the great give away contest for a snow blower. They say a picture is worth a thousand words just google area code 78537.  My apologies to all that suffer with global warming every winter. I will stop entering that one.

    Dollar,
Your weather is about like it is here in Augusta, GA  30906, but I like your humidity levels better than our 60-70%.
We might get 1-4" once a year, every other year or so.
Now, if it would also work as a "Sand Blower", we could probably both use it.  LOL

    LOL!
just wait till the magnetic poles try to reverse and in the process old mother earth decides to make Honduras the new North Pole, then you will be wishin' you entered!
    ( a minor impossibility. )

Well mine is still chugging along so if I won it, I'd first see if the church could use it.

Just imagine the reel type lawn mower you could turn that into!

I entered the contest for the pickup truck rack a few times before I realized what the prize had changed to. (I don't own a pickup.) I suppose I could have always given it to the neighbors.

Like Slug-gunner I'm in Georgia, Don't need it, but I enter. Figure that on the slim chance I win, it would be a nice gift for my sister in Omaha.

Virginia Beach here! Just east of Norfolk.

Iffun I win that thing, it's going to family in northern Illinois on my next trip up....or I drop it off at Dewey's on the way there. Just set it on his door step, knock on the door to get his schnauzer's all wound up and disappear.

I took a trip to texas last december, it actually snowed there then, was surprised to see the city out with a WATER TRUCK spraying the white stuff with hot water, to clear the roadway. what a surprise, Later at a gas station I was asked if it was cold enough fir me, told the lady that it seemed just like home. ( central Wyoming).

I was walking around there without a coat and they were in parkas, Went into an I-HOP and one of the kitchen staff was in the restroom removing his thermal underwear, and washing up in the sink, said he was cold that morning when he came to work, I left and laughed all day long about the sight of a gut shedding his clothing when it warmed up from 35 to 60.

If you win it you could hold a raffle here, sell 2000 tickets at $1.00 each, that should pay for free shipping, and then let those that live in snow country, purchase a chance at it.

    Denagorg,

I like that Idea! I have a neighbor plow the driveway with his PU every time it snows in WNY. Now that I think about it, I will just let him plow and I will sit in the house and drink Hot Toddies

So you are the one who's been doing that!  Craig I apologize for not returning your phone call yet, things have been hectic here since I talked to you last, with numerous trips to KY.  In fact I'm hitting the sheets now in hopes of getting 3 hours sleep before heading back at 6:30 am.  The schnauzers are in Doggy Day Care until Tuesday morning, feel free to go rile them up there!
