Just trying to load a picture and thought I would use the toy box I made for my 4 sons 30 years ago. It's a good project to show off because I was a newbie back then and I was afraid of failing. Although I've learned a lot since then, one lesson still remains from the 1st project. It was good enough to serve the purpose. And if any newbies out there are afraid of failing, don't be. Now, 30 years later, all 4 sons want the old toy box for their kids or for an entry way seat to hold boots etc. Figure!

I guess I'll have to do a little homework on posting pictures. I'll try again latter.

If you haven't found it yet, go to How To Use The Forums, there is a quick tutorial near the top of the page on how to attach photos. Also note that if the photo's name has certain symbols in it, such as: # & * _ or @ ! etc it will not stick. Check the file name to make sure it contains no symbols.

I see the photo just fine. Toy box looks great.
I'll bet after 30 years it makes you feel good that all 4 of your sons still appreciate what you have built and
    would like to have it.

    Nice job

Your right Dewey. I do have a small box with the red x also.
    Could be another picture ?
I thought maybe you had it in the secured site again and couldn't see the picture.

I guess we will find out if it is a emoticon or a picture when he post again.

Thanks for the comments - yes I am proud the boys all have an interest in what I made for the 30 years ago. My post was for 2 reasons. I was testing photo posting and I guess I did OK - I'll be posting more. The 2nd reason for the post was to encourage newbies to go ahead and start woodworking - it's a great hobby and is keeping busy in my retirement. For the novice woodworker - there is nothing fancy about the toy box except for my original design to put a couple of shelves on it. The box is made of pine and is simple lap joints. I started off a woodhacker and now I would consider my self a craftsman after 30 years of puttering. Hope to encourage any new woodworker out there. It's a great hobby.
