I'm trying to start a new topic, perhaps that will allow me to post pictures. I didn't have any success doing it to my origional post....here goes....

I opened the attachment, browsed to the location of the picture(s), then opened the picture (or double clicked), then Uploaded it to the attachment line. It appears with the file name, size, Create Thumbnail, Insert Image, Display Link? and Delete options. When I click on Insert image, I get the dredded Red X in the post (here), not the picture I had hoped for!

    No success here either....dang it.

Any suggestions why I'm getting the dredded red X when I click on "Insert Image"?

The picture file is only 44.17K so should fit.

    HELP!

    Sixty,
don't forget the problem that we have with special characters in the file name like a single quote or apostrophe.

I think that underscores and dashes ore OK, but anything other than those, possibly including spaces, may cause the image to not embed giving the same result as a red X. Even though the upload, file size and type are correct.

As an aside Sixty, if one is using double monitors, it IS possible for CamStudio to capture both at the same time.

    Well guys,
I HAD everything all fixed. It was all loaded to the post and I hit SUBMIT. 8 minutes later it was still uploading to the Handy site when the freekin' power went out....
    Lost everything.

I'll try later, power just came back on...

    Grrrrrrrrrr

    Ok...one last try!!

So far so good!! This pic shows the soaked trellis and the stringer I put across the top. Bending the two outer strips was touchy, but if done evenly, it was a breeze. I attached it in place and the other strips went into place easily.

This shot shows the back two stringers holding the gently curving strips into place.

One happy wifey! (she didn't want me to use THIS picture...said it made her look fat...WHICH SHE ISN'T!!)
Also note the bottom of the trellis. I actually sandwiched the lower 8" of the trellis to make sure that the strips wouldn't continue to split as it dried. It dried overnight and was perfect this morning.
This was a very easy project for even the  novice woodworker. I'm sure if I did it, anyone can.

NOW, if this posts...........thanks for being so patient with me and a big THANKS to SIXTY VETTE for his guidence and support!!

Well she is smiling and that is always a good sign. I see two trellises in the photo, was the other one a trellis you bought or did you make 2?  Nice job on the trellis btw.

Made them both...from one 15.25Wx7/8"Tx7.5"L chunk of Paduk.

Don't look to closely at the 'other' one....it shows how my strips were not quite equal widths.

If the roses grow as well as your trellis job, Bob, I think everybody will be spending more time smelling the roses than admiring the trelli.

    Great job!

Glad on 2 counts - completing the project - and - posting the pictures.

Now just one more project - installing them in the garden.

Funny you should mention that Bubba..

The rose bushes are not very large yet but I'm thinking of the installation. I may just drive fence posts in and attach the trelli (I like that word better than mine!) to them. But, they back up on the railing of one of my decks, so I might just attach them to the deck itself.

Thanks to all for the nice comments/observations.  It was actually very nice getting back into the shop after some time of NON CREATING.  I had been doing some welding projects, but WOOD has always been my passion. I can only encourage all of you to get away from your computers....and CREATE something!!  Set a time, once a day to come back here and interact with fellow handy people. BUT spend more time creating than typing!!
