Go figure...I am trying to get a memorial cutting done x4 and the pin that holds the upper blade holder in place breaks, that in it's self is not the bad thing as it would have been an easy fix. But guess what? Sears does not carry that specific pin as it came with the replacement holder and they no longer carry the replacement holder. If I can not find a suitably sized pin to repair my say I will be out of a couple hundred dollars of commission............^%##^&**(*(#%^ |

Is it a spring type roll pin? They are available at good hdwe stores and auto or tractor parts stores. Easy enough to replace. I keep an assortment opf roll pins on hand for just such "emergencies". Good luck!

Nope it wasn't a roll pin it was a solid one. So what I did was call my good friend Micky Mouse while at Lowes, and we decided to give a hinge clip pin a try because I could not find anything except that, which came close to the proper diameter. So after spending 76 cents and about 3 dollars in gas I made it home and cut the pin up some, put it into the hole and bent the ends of it a little so it would not slide out. Now I am back to cutting. Then I called Micky back and thanked him for the idea...Man you gotta love the Micky Mouse ideas you come up with to fix things, so the work as good as new......YEAAAAAAaaaaa |

Temporary? Of course I have got to get some time on the saw to make sure that it will last, but I am thinking that it will outlast the original pin and I have another one that I can use if I need to.... |

various parts and blade holders for your saw...
They have several pages worth of parts etc...
