Hey Cedar, love welding!! That's one trade I could never really get down. Do you do any Stainless welding? My cousin does underwater welding in the gulf. I'll definitely help you with any electrical issues, just give me a shout. And "Bob" doesn't bother me, I just always went by Robert. If you prefer Bob, that's cool. Hey Cedar how did you get a "pm" button attached to you, how can I get one??

I see that dewey got to you on the PM issue. I'm sure he explained everything much better than I can. If you go to your profile page and fill that out,members can send PM's to you and you can send PM's to others by clicking on their names to get to their profile page . Once there,click on the envelope on the upper right hand corner. The PM capability on my posts was established before the update that provided PM capability on the profile page.
I'm retired as a welder now, but I learned as an apprentice at the Portsmouth Naval shipyard.I was certified to weld several alloys of stainless steel, monel, copper nickle,and various carbon steel alloys using stick welding and TIG welding. Also had Tig and MIG qualifications for aluminum as well as the steels.I worked welding untill after my 70th birthday.Started welding at age 24.

I should add, in case you aren't sure how to get to your PMs, roll your mouse pointer over "forums" at the top of the page and a drop down menu will appear, click on Private Messages and that will take you to your inbox.
