Suggest you contact Chris Messman, a member who does the coolest scroll saw work that I know of.

Here is one link that relates to him and a scroll saw forum:

Secondly, in the upper right corner of your OP (original post) you will see an alert button. I suggest you click on it and ask admin to remove your personal information such as address, member # etc. never I good idea to post that for the world to see.

Another member that comes to mind for great scrollsaw abilities is EZgoing, I'll shoot him a message to have him read this thread.

Too late for me to edit now, so let me add I'm sorry to hear about your long hospital stay and hope you are recovering nicely.
I've been running in and out of the house today between priming and caulking to get away from the heat for a few minutes at a time, and that rushing around isn't the greatest atmosphere for intelligent posting on my part. That's my excuse for today anyway, I'll have to come up with a new one for tomorrow.

First of all Lawrence, welcome to the forum family...

I also hope you heal or recover quickly..

Dollar beat me to posting about Steve Good's site... He has patterns from the most simple to fairly advanced.. (like cutting two different woods at the same time with the table at a slight slant so one finished piece fits inside the other with out the normal blade gap.. using colored epoxy to fill in the cut outs etc..)

Another site is   http://intarsia.com/ , run by Judy Gale Roberts.. Although she is considered a master of the craft of intarsia (mainly done on a scroll saw), she also has some interesting standard scroll saw patterns that can be considered fairly hard.. Some free patterns are available on her site too..

Judy's and Steve's sites both have some great links in their 'links' sections too..  Steve's gallery is an area where members of his almost daily email (be sure to sign up for his email service) and forum have submitted photos of their works... A great place to get some good ideas for new projects...

What type of saw do you use?  I picked up a DW788 last summer and although have not gotten a chance to use it nearly as much as I want, the saw is a dream to use vs. the entrance level saw I was using...

BTW, thanks to Dewey for the heads up on this thread..

Again, welcome and I hope you enjoy your stay with us...

Lawrence welcome to the site. What type of patterns are you looking for? I have designed a number of patterns over the years and I may have something you could use. It has been pointed out that you can buy patterns, but I would strongly suggest that you look free first, why spend money when you don't need to. Just let me know what you are looking for and I will point you to the right site if I don't have it.
