Looking for info about a quick dry varnish. Benjamin Moore used to make a one hour clear varnish that would dry to touch in 30 minutes, and would be dry in one hour. They have discontinued that product, and I need info on a good sealer that would be the equivalent of the old product.

One of the water based polyurethanes will do the job. Check them out at your local big box store.
My personal preference is Minwax, but many other brands do a good job.

I used a fast drying polyurethane I bought at Home Depot.
The greatest reward for doing is the opportunity to do more.

As Dewey suggested, try shellac. It is fast drying and is a good sealer.
Any job not worth taking the time to do right the first time, isn't worth the time to do it at all.

BENWOOD: is Benjamin Moore fast dry varnish. Wood Classics: is Sherwin Williams fast dry varnish. Wood Guardian: is PPG's fast dry varnish. Try a google search for fast dry wood varnish. Choose the kink that suits you and then you can find a distributor / retailer in your area.
