COMPLETED

Finished over the weekend.  At a carving show on Saturday, a fellow member asked what I was doing with the eyes and offered me a couple small plastic eyes.  Simply paint the back side the color you want, drill two small holes and use some super glue to hold them in,  After placing the eyes, I decided to paint the beak and feet yellow as well - kind of ties it all together.

Dipped in antiquing solution, several coats of Deft and sign!

Onto next project (with work on the eagle in between )

LOL - I have no control over where it will be located - the club officers determine that!  LOL

Once the cane is put together - I will post a completed picture - prob wont be until August (show in September)

Thanks for the nice comments everyone!
