Will do Gerry. May God grant Walter, his family and you and your family strength, endurance, understanding and comfort during this difficult time.

Thank-you for alowing your forum family to help carry your burden.  Dave

Guys and Gals,

who ever said prayers don't help?

They seem to be helping and I really appreciate it!

I was to visit him tonight for about an hour and his voice is stronger, could hear him in the hallway, his swelling is going down in his hands, he has some color in his cheeks and he even cracked a joke!

His strength is coming back slowly,

The goal is to get him mobile and out of bed. He needs to start the chemo treatments again. The cancer doctor is very confident, But he needs to be able to sit up for five hours for the treatments and he needs to be able to do that in less than four weeks.

I really appreciate it, please keep them coming!

If any of you are so inclined to send him a get well card, sort of saying from one of Gerry's friends and say what town you are from, that would be great. Drop me a PM and I'll give you an address.

Gratefully,

Gerry

I second to that. Prayer, if you are really sincere, is very powerful and I can attest to that.
The greatest reward for doing is the opportunity to do more.

YES,
Add my prayers to the long list of others. I do pray for my Handy family on a regular basis, but this sounds like it needs a bit of a kicker! You and your family have it Gerry

Gerry - my heart felt feelings go out to your family!

After you called, I dropped to a knee and said a prayer for you and your brother's family.

Then it dawned on me...don't forget to eat!  Many send flowers and cards...yet many forget to eat.

Again, my friend - if you need to talk, you have my number.  The ringer volume is up high - just call...I'll answer once I find that dang thing.
