Wow. Hanna and her mom and little sister Lexi have been busy. And they have posted 4 times in two days with a promise of another tomorrow morning.
This morning's journal entry from Hanna, herself, got missed. So I will post it first. Then comes the one from Mom that Dewey posted on page three of this thread. After that is a late post this evening by Mom, primarily about Lexi. Real cute.
------------------------------
Good morning! We slept good last night. We left home yesterday about 3:30 and got here late. The car ride was ok. We had to stop a few times because I wasn't feeling so good. I wish I would stop throwing up soon. Lex and I played and read a lot of books. Then we slept the rest of the trip while it was dark. Mommy said there was a lot of night construction and very bright lights making it hard to see. She told me and Lex to remind her to stop taking trips when it's going to be night time, haha. I like the hotel room. There's a living room and a kitchen here. And a pool! I can't wait to go swimming! We are leaving for the appointments in a few minutes, to help beat the other cars. I'm a little nervous, but ok. Talk to you all soon! Thank you so much for the love, support, and happy thoughts!
Love,
Hannah
------------------------------ Now Mom's latest journal entry:
· Hello!
What a day we have had!! After we got back to the hotel, we sat for a little bit and then were off to the Aquarium! We had a lot of fun with friends and saw tons of fish. They had the biggest turtles too! The girls had a great time and even touched some stingrays and sharks! After the Aquarium, we came back to the hotel to swim. I was only going to watch, but someone had other plans. Hannah was swimming around and Lex, the five year old who thinks she is invincible, decided she wanted to swim with Hannah. she was waiting on the steps of the pool for her, where she had been playing fine for about 20 minutes already. Hannah was on her way over and Lex said "I'll just jump to you!" i was out of my chair before she finished her sentence, but it still wasn't fast enough. she went pretty far and went right down under the water. mommy's instinct: jump in the water...clothes, shoes, phone in pocket and all. i was able to get her pretty quickly and pulled her out. I had to help her get the water out and breathe well again. It was really scary but happened fast and it was almost like it wasn't me doing everything to help her. Gotta love adrenaline. She is doing just fine now and is sleeping solid. It was a busy day and with that, I'm sure she'll be out for a long time. Hannah had a good afternoon and enjoyed the Aquarium and swimming. After, we had pizza for dinner and just sat in the hotel so I could work on the computer and they played and watched tv. She is still up, but I told her she can sleep until whenever tomorrow so she could be up late. We are hoping to leave about ten tomorrow morning to be back in town about 5ish. We will post on here before we leave the hotel, and will again after we get home. I hate not having a phone, but we should be ok. I just remembered that I better google directions since the gps was on my phone. Haha!
Long, crazy day for us! Good night everyone. as always, thank you so much for your love and support. Hugs to you all!!
