oak hardwood floor is squeaking after 6 years. how do i stop it?

    Hi,


      If it is just one or two boards squeaking then there is one of two ways to take care of the problem.

    1)   you can screw it down  from the underside by  going through the subfloor make sure you predrill as not to split the flooring


    2)  predrill & screw into the hardwood sink the screw then fill with color of floor if you go this way try to screw into floor joist.
