    Nice story from my local paper...people helping other people out...in this case, it was an NCO in the Navy.

    Help where you can and do what you can.

    Amazing how much more interesting this story is with a link. LOL
    Thanks for sharing Craig, that's a great story. Meanwhile in Deweyville, a father (a few months ago) was mowing his son's lawns when he thought he smelled something burning and not having a key he did what he thought was the right thing and called the F.D. After breaking in they found nothing burning, but something was cooking.  The son is now doing 10 years for manufacturing. What a difference a community makes. LOL

    Stories like this should be everyday.  When I hear or read one of these stories, I want to get my tools and go.  If my wife was ambulatory, I would be there working with Habitat for Humanity.  This kind of story needs to be published far and wide.  It just warms the cockles of your heart.  Thanks, Craig, for such an uplifting story as A Christmas Carol.
