While I am not an official of Handyman Club, I'm one of the members just like you, let me offer you this advice from experience....

( I'll try to make this short and simple. )

    1. Please read the title and check on the content of the forum you want to post a message into.
It ain't that hard, if you don't, well it's sort of like bringing up the wrong subject at a dinner party!
The other people at the dinner party kind-of don't approve.
Also, messages posted in the proper area(s) get answered a heck of a lot faster!
(Hint: this is not the area for a first message!)

    2. We like to think of ourselves in here as a family.
There are both guys and gals in here, please act accordingly.
You may see some teasing posts by "old timers", but seriously, wait till people know you before you jump in that foray, again, think of a dinner party.

    3. Unless your first post is really an urgent request for advice, please go to the "New Member's" area FIRST and tell us a little about yourself. Sort of like an introduction, where you are at, (generally speaking), maybe what your experiences and abilities are. So jump down there first and get a more personalized welcome from individual members.

Thank you for reading this and Welcome to the Handyman Club forums!
    Eric
