Or you can make a duck tape ball great for throwing at people or using as a base ball.

I want to know what color it was. There are all kinds of colors now. Did they splurge and give you a smachey color or just grey?

Once the rust holes were covered I painted over the tape.

I was able to sell the car that I bought for $35.00 (and drove for 14,000 miles) for $175.00.

uh huh, another "honest" car dealer? Confused<!--graemlin::confused:-->

I have no use for 18" of duct tape.I bought a 3 pack of Duct tape at Sam's Club for one price.I use duct tape to hold the battery cover on my cable tv remote and it does the job until I get a new remote.

You can use it to tape your fenders back on if you compete in nascar.

I've also seen it used extensively up North to repair cracked hoods and winshields on snowmobiles, they call it "Yooper Chrome" lol

If you ask my kids what duct tape is for, they will honestly reply with "Unruly kids".  LOL.

Seriously though, I bought a cheap bookshelf for my son's room... the kind made of plywood that has the folded piece of "wood" (more like really thick cardboard with wood-grained tape on one side) that you nail to the back of the shelf .  The problem is that the seam is not very sturdy.  I guess an 18" piece of duct tape could come in handy for reinforcing something like that.

Enigmily,

Unfortunately, due to Handy's wisdom during their 'upgraded forum', you are replying to a subject that is ONE and a HALF years old since the last post was made. The same applies to ANY subject which has the name Internal Administrator or Handy Club Member in the name title area in the upper left hand corner. Just FYI.... no criticism intended towards you (only Handy).

Many members have suggested that these numerous posts be removed to clean out 'memory' from the forums that have numerous other issues that need to be resolved - many that have continued to exist for the last 18 months since "the upgrade".
