I do love Woodworking Plans!!!! I like your List, I'm a firm believer you can never have too many.

I was in Russia twice, but that was after the split. They were alot more interested in learning english so they kept ya talking by keeping the vodka flowin. (it was real cheap, $1.50 a quart, and at that price, who needs water) I ignore the russian and just read the English, or.... Use this link: Babel Fish

I am trying to figure out the angles for an octagonal wishing well planter. Can anyone help - I can not find plans online that won't take a while to receive if I purchase them. I need to work on this project as soon as possible. Thanks |

Ramj81, What you calculated is true if the bucket sides are straight up and down. But it starts to change if the bucket sides flair out and the more they flair the faster the angle changes. Depoortere3, it would be much better to start a new subject than to hijack this one. When you do, please describe the planter dimensions you want --- height, width at bottom, width at top. Start your own post and receive your own answers and not tag onto someone else post will give you better results to your problems. Drop down to "NEW MEMBERS" and introduce yourself to the membership. I can't count or remember the number of times I've found exactly what I was looking for when I visited Kenn's Den of Woodworking. If you have never checked it out, I highly recommend it. It just may help you out as much as it has me. I Bumped this old post back to the top for all the Newbies and the old Phart's (like me) that forgot how to access it.
