Looking for ideas on making something out of a 30 liter S/S beer barrel. The local scrap yards in Fox Valley area of WI won't take it for cash cause there is a new law prohibiting them from doing so.
Beer barrel came home from Germany when I was in the USAF and now better half is tired of looking at it.
Seems to me there was a plan somewhere to make a portable grill out of them. Any other ideas?

Sell them on EBay. They're used for gas tank on dune buggies and street rods.

    Roger,

Germany my foot, I've heard that you guys over in the 'valleys' do a LOT of drinking durning them packer games!!

Maybe you could take it to some micro brewery and get it refilled!!

Find a homebrewer, like me, who would gladly take the keg off your hands and put it it its proper use.

Speeking of hot rods doing it, here's my '46 chevy with a keg for a gas tank. Of course, it's on its side right now but so is the picture...
