Dusting the living room

After brushing out the chimney flue on my fireplace insert I grabbed the vacuum to clean out the fine residue and cresolt still left after removing the majority of the material with a dust pan and small brush. I had installed an filter designed to catch the smallest particles a few days before. I was unaware that the wife had used it to clean up a water spill in the basement. She had removed the filter, used the vac. and left it in the corner. Yesterday I carried the vac. up to the living room to vac. the wood burner. As I'm working I suddenly realize I was in a FOG. Actually it was the fine materials and particles left in the firebox from my clean out. Shutting down the vac. and expecting to see a clogged filter I was not happy with the wife as there was no filter at all. We have dust on everything. Guess who is expected to clean up the mess. Not the wife as she pointed out I should have ck. for the filter before using the vac. No need to argue the point with her as I never win those discussions. I needed to wash the walls in prep of painting,BUT, the rest of the room is now extra time and labor for ME. Anyone want to bet I will always ck. for the filter before I use the shop vac ever again.

Sounds like it's time to get the wife her own wet/dry vac. Then it can be your fault when that one is set up wrong too.

My question is, if it had been you who left the filter out, would we have read this story?  LOL!    Congrats on being in the wrong again, kudos to you LOL!

GEEZ OLDMAN!

You better hire someone like BoB to keep an eye on you so you don't keep getting in trouble. You better work fast tho. Deer season is just around the corner if you plan on going. But then again-A loaded gun in your hands right now could be another story for What The H**l Was I Thinking! ROTFLMAO.

Take your meds and get a good nights sleep-Things will look better in the morning.LoL
