I have to laugh when I listen to the news talking about her experiance as a leader. Head of PTA, mayor of a town of 7000, and govenor for 2 years. Yea that will do it for me. She is over qualified for the job. Forgot mother of 5. Yea she is good to look at and can shot and fish. Lot of good that will do in the white house. Gib PGHP Le Mars, Ia

Nothin wrong with a tomboy being the VP. I like the fact that she doesn't shy away from anything. Siccum, Sarah.

Like I said they all make good speeches. Not that I believe anything that any of them say. Talk is cheap.I feel that one of the main things a politician need to be is some one that can pull the wool of peoples eys and make them think that they are being helped. At this point I am not sure who I will vote for. Unfortunately my vote will probably be more of a vote against instead of a vote for. As for who I think is qualified I don't think there is anyone anymore that the country as a whole would back, unless it would be Billy Grahm. All the rest are there to just line there pockets. The ones that I liked did not make it this far so I guess I will look at more than the main 3. Like some have said it is too bad that for Miss USA there are 50 to pick from but for President there are so few. Gib PGHP Le Mars, Ia

I took a listen to Gov. Palin last night. She reminds me of the gal who used to whip my butt in livestock judging every time we met back in FFA. Confident, tough, down home attitude, and believable. Yeah, yeah. I'll get a round to it sometime. Mike S.E. Kansas

I took the time to watch. Yeh, she can really spout off with ease. Like
she said, I'm a hockey Mom, and the only difference between a hockey
Mom and a pitbull is the lipstick. Why is it that when all these
teenage girls in high school get pregnant, people say it is
unfortunate, but when her teenage daughter got pregnant, it is a
blessed event? Is there something different happening?

When people say "it's unfortunate", it's not their daughter. But when it's your daughter, you help her through the ordeal and love her just as you would any of your other children. Unless you are the big "O" and you don't want your "daughters to be burdened or punished with a baby." ZIP San Antonio, Texas...[78212 for Map Users]...

What else can you do? Just because she made a mistake doesn't make her any less your daughter. You might as well roll with the punches and enjoy your grand kid. I had no actual daughters but a lot of girls who are like daughters to me. One of them got pregnant too soon once. I made sure that she knew that I still loved her regardless of the mistake she made and we are still very close. Her little girl is 5 now and I love her like she was my own grand daughter.

Good question. Ask the media, who are more blantantly biased than ever: Is there something diffferent happening when Palin's husband got arrested for DUI 20+ years ago (apparently a big deal to the media), but Obama's admitted drug use around that same time never gets mentioned? Is there something different happening when Palin is described by the media as having no experience, when she's actually had more leadership/managment experience than Obama? It goes on and on...for me, Novemeber can't come soon enough. BTW, I am still UNDECIDED in my vote. Residence: Malvern, PA (western Philadelphia suburbs).

Biden is shown in the hospital, being sworn in as senator, leaving two injured children, to go to Wash. ISN`T IT WONDERFUL? Palin is nominated as V. P. - OH HOW CAN SHE DO THAT TO HER CHILDREN ? ? Is this "media bias" or does everyone feel this way? Ron Ron aka The torch

Well, I've taken the time to listen to Biden and Obama, as well as
Palin and McCain in their inaugural acceptance speeches. The question
now is, Who can we believe? I'm sure that the debates will be sharp and
vicious. I'm really not happy with the choices we have, but in less
than 2 months, we all have a very important decision to make. There is
no electable third choice. I believe that the election will be close,
and voting for a third candidate could well swing the results either
way.

Still don't know which should it be.
McCain sure was in good form.
Also caught him checking out Sara's bottom.
It was giving me the McCain Go ahead.
But the mess that Bush has made has got me very leary of putting a Republican in the White House this time around.
Still don't know............... As for Sara she has one thing that I can't understand and it goes for all the Politicians
" I smoked pot but I didn't like it or Inhale or only tried once"
ect ect ect
Is that a prerequisite to be one?
Does any one belive that...................

I THINK WE'RE ON THE RIGHT TRACK!
Was it as over whelming as it seemed!
Good for us.
Good for the country.
Good for the world....
I can see it in the people I meet in the last few days there is an ease in the air.
Relaxed encounters with those that would of held a posture in the past.
The out come feels real good.
My hope is no one spoils it..........
No more !!!!!
