Hey Scoot, how long has this been around? I've never seen one, but I've never looked either. It is something I WILL have to check out this week. I've got about 200 lbs. of vinyl sitting right next to me that hasn't been touched in 10 years, and I can't find any cd's of just about all of them.

It's rare for me to even look at this thread (more so since email notification has been fixed)... BUT, this post by Scooter caught my eye...

I did some checking around and found the same turntable available at Amazon for $107.... (shipped) with OUT a dust cover (like the one he posted about above), and their upgraded version with a dust cover for $199...  Pretty damn expensive dust cover IMO...

I really like the fact that you can input a cassette player into the turntable and convert your old tapes using the same software too..

There are several brands out there in the $100 range... but I believe that the ION will do what I want for less money...  Besides, unless you collect vinyl, once you convert them over, you no longer need the turntable...  right?

Thanks Scooter for letting us know that this even exists...  I'm sure it will be on the wife's birthday list soon...

Whom ever moved this shouldn't have done so unless they know what the H--- they're doing. In other words all those buttons, that will reply to the original thread/post - and not here, should've been removed before reposting/moving the thread here.

If the Anonymous person that moved it can edit the moved posts, I suggest that it be edited accordingly as soon as possible. If not, who knows where a reply/post will end up if someone clicks one of those embedded buttons. Surely not here.

Much better, especially for those that may be unaware of what happened the last time buttons were copied into a post. It was a real mess to say the least.

Thanks again.

I guess, since I did 'make an appearance' here, I'll throw in my 1/2 a penny here.

I listen to what ever is on the radio at the time. What radio station? Depends on my mood (60's, 70's, 80's, 90's) or what is "in the air (EAA radio in July/August) or on the air" at the time. This includes web casts. (Yes, my 'puter audio can feed to my shop. [outdoors for picnics or yard work, too]) Police calls are even an option, if the weather is threatening or the power goes out.

Classical, Polka, Rap & Metal are not on my list of favorites. But, as a former record spinner, I'll listen to, or play, anything - to a point.

Btw, Grundies are underwear - clean or dirty. (Of course, your "official dictionary definition" could very from mine.) Gungies are...
...well, I won't go there. - Might get someone else's "Grundies in a bundle".

Anyway, apparently you've never given, or gotten, a "Grundy". Cleanliness is not a factor, but, owww!

Anonymous,
I apologize for 'blowing up', but it bugs me when one doesn't realize what the potential confusion those relocated buttons can cause. Again, thanks.

Audacity is what I use to track each song

If the whole album is good each side is a track the way it was to be listened to.

Do this when the songs fade in and out.

Magix tracks the songs automaticly but the fade out in a song fools it.
